The main objective of the Tree Crops Project is to help to improve production and productivity in palm oil and rubber. The project will assist: (a) the state governments to supply seedlings and extension advice to mixed crop smallholders to plant 17,500 hectares of oil palm; (b) Adapalm Ltd. and Akwapalm Ltd. to plant oil palm on 17,000 ha (nucleus estate and smallholder) and to build two 20 ton/hr mills; (c) private sector and public sector investors...
