In ...  Voir la suite The purpose of the BOOST project (started by the World Bank in early 2010) is to enhance transparency and efficiency in public finance management across the globe by improving access to public finance data and linking spending to relevant results. In Moldova, the BOOST database has been constructed at the request of the Minister of Finance based on the detailed treasury data provided to the World Bank by the Center for Information Technologies in Finance (CTIF). This technical manual is intended to provide users with the background information they require to understand the database structure as well as how to produce basic analysis with BOOST. The manual describes the revised Moldova BOOST database which follows the new budget classification system (effective as of 2016) and how it compares to the previous BOOST versions BOOST and the old budget classification system. This document is organized into the following sections: part one gives information about BOOST; part two outlines the Moldovan budget structure; part three presents the organization of the database; part four provides examples of how to use BOOST through the excel PivotTable interface; the appendix contains the budget classification codes used in BOOST, as well as the bridge tables used to harmonize the old and new budget classification structures.  Réduire
